USB driver for Windows (external links)
USB interface DPM72-EX2
- The driver is installed automatically if the computer is connected to the Internet.
- Alternatively, the driver can be installed manually in the Windows device manager (http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm). Before the installation the USB interface appears in the device manager at "Other devices" as "FT232R USB UART". This should be checked before the manual installation.
USB interface DPM72-EX5
- The driver is not installed automatically but can be installed via Windows Update and is found there at "Optional updates" (detailed description).
- Alternatively, the driver can be installed manually in the Windows device manager (https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads). Before the installation the USB interface appears in the device manager at "Other devices" as "CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller". This should be checked before the manual installation.
