Extendible and freely programmable measuring and control system, with our without display
The system consists of at least one basic unit and a maximum of three extension cards. In order to use additional cards, several basic units can be interconnected as slot extensions.
Basic units are available with either LCD displays size 72x72 mm, with touchscreen TFT displays size 96x96 mm or without displays for DIN rail mounting. The basic unit for DIN rail mounting is extendible by an external TFT display. External TFT displays are available in sizes 2.8 inches to 7 inches, with or without touchscreen. The unit is equipped with individually customizable display designs, mathematic functions as well as process controls. Measuring and counting values of the cards in use can be freely combined and processed at will, e.g. for recording or transfer of data via USB, RS485, CAN-Bus, or wirelessly (2.4 GHz mesh network).
By default, each device has USB, RS485 and two digital PLC-compatible inputs and outputs.
Software
The measuring devices can be set up individually using the configuration software. For example, it is possible to upload your own text or customer-specific images (vector graphics), to define screen pages and to arrange operating elements and displays. The processing of the measured values and control signals as well as customer-specific sequence controls can be designed with scripts.
Interfaces
In principle, all devices have a USB interface for programming and data transmission as well as an RS485 interface for connection to other DGLX systems or for communication with third-party devices via Modbus-RTU. Additional fieldbuses or types of communication can be added via extension cards.
Isolated digital IO
Each device has an IO system that is galvanically isolated from the main system and has two inputs and two outputs. The inputs are designed as sink / PNP inputs for voltages of 12-24V DC. The outputs are designed as 24V source / PNP outputs with 1A current limitation, thermal protection circuit and integrated freewheeling diode for switching inductive loads.
